Kids Drinking Starbucks After School

Have you noticed that there’s Starbucks near elementary schools? If so, you should try going in to one after school hours and you will see most customers are elementary school students. Doesn’t that shock you? These kids from ages 8 to 12 years old are drinking coffee with the size of ventis! This is quite alarming news especially to the parents of these kids.

Though there is no study to confirm that coffee stunts the growth of young children, these beverages do contain high amounts of sugar and caffeine. This will surely keep these kids up for the entire night! Sure they can do their homework and other school projects at night but I don’t think that they need coffee to do all that.

Parents should watch what their kids drink. They have to be responsible and teach the kids that coffee isn’t a healthy drink for little children who needs a good nights sleep to help them get through the next day in school.
